You can download these two PS4 games for free

This is part of Sony’s Play at Home initiative.

To encourage gamers all over the world to practice social distancing, Sony launches its Play at Home initiative. With this, PlayStation 4 (PS4) owners get to download two games for free.

Players can now get Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey free through digital downloads starting April 15 until May 5.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection features three games including Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. These games from Naughty Dog have been remastered for the PS4. Explore the world as you sit back at home and step into Nathan Drake’s shoes.

Meanwhile, let Journey take you on a mysterious and moving adventure. You might not be able to go out, but with these games, you get to step into and immerse yourself in a new world.

In addition to the free games, the initiative also aims to establish a fund to help smaller independent game studios experiencing financial difficulties. The company has designated $10 million to aid indie developers.

“During these days of physical distancing, fans have turned to gaming for moments of respite and enjoyment,” wrote Sony Interactive Entertainment President and CEO Jim Ryan in a blogpost. “We are privileged to bring this much-needed entertainment. We know this is just one small step and we are thankful to be able to offer this support to our players, our communities, and our partners.”
