Leaks suggest Xiaomi is working on Mi Band X with 360-degree display

Xiaomi is reportedly developing a smartwatch that can seemingly shove all other fitness trackers to the sidelines.

The new watch, called Mi Band X, was leaked on Weibo by a user that goes by the username @我才是羽度非凡. According to the post, the watch will do away with the usual touchscreen-and-wristband combo used by most fitness trackers today.

The leak instead revealed that the Mi Band X’s flexible display goes around the entire circumference of the device, making it unnecessary to attach a strap. Photos of the concept watch seem to be taken during a company presentation.

If Xiaomi’s plans for the Mi Band X take shape, the smartwatch will become the advanced version of Nubia Alpha and Nubia Watch that both have a 4-inch flexible AMOLED display that wraps around the wrist.

While the Chinese manufacturer has yet to confirm the reports, many have already presumed that the Mi Band X will come with a hefty price tag.
