Western Digital unveils redesigned hard drive lines

 

Western Digital has introduced the redesigned My Passport, My Passport for Mac, and My Book hard drive lines. In partnership with industrial design and brand firm Fuse, Western Digital reimagined its products with the customer in mind. The new drives include pass word protection and hardware encryption, putting data security on top of everything.

The newly designed My Passport drives will come in six vivid colors: black, yellow, red, white, orange, and blue. Meanwhile, the My Passport for Mac drive is available in black. Users can keep their photos, videos, music, and documents in the My Book’s up to 8TB storage space. Each storage device comes with an automatic backup solution as well as password protection.

The My Passport drive has a starting retail price of P4,190, while the My Passport for Mac drive‘s price starts at P4,190. Meanwhile, the My Book desktop hard drives are available with a starting price of P6,850.

All the drives are protected by a two-year limited warranty. They are available from EA Global Supply Chain Management Inc. and selected IT resellers nationwide.
