All-new Mazda 3 sedan and hatchback premiere in PH
On March 22, Bermaz Auto Philippines premiered the all-new Mazda 3. The official distributor of Mazda vehicles in the Philippines gave the media a first look at the new sedan and hatchback models.
The company sought to improve driving performance, environmental performance, and on its quality feel. It features a 7th Generation design direction, which represents the brand’s efforts toward premium customer experience. In its Southeast Asian debut, the hatchback model was an embodiment of Mazda’s unprecedented designs that are both sporty and luxurious.
“Having sold over six million units since its debut, the all new Mazda 3 is a global strategic model that has driven Mazda’s growth from both a brand and business perspective,” shares Steven Tan, president and CEO of Bermaz Auto Philippines. “More than 19,000 Mazda 3 units have been loved by fans since its 2004 introduction into the country, making it the most successful Mazda model on record in the local mark.
Elevating the Mazda 3 is the new SKYACTIV-Vehicle Architecture, which is designed to help users maximize their sense of balance. The new technology will offer more drive through innovations in engine, chassis, and suspension performance.
Notably, the unveiling is in line wih Mazda’s corporate goal to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by half in 2030. The Mazda 3 was touted to lead the way toward the achievement of Mazda’s “Sustainable Zoom-Zoom 2030” goal.
