According to PLDT-Smart public affairs head Ramon Isberto, these apps highlight scenic destinations , giving vacation-seekers a comprehensive digest about local attractions in far-flung areas.
For those exploring Bicol, there is a #SoSorsogon travel guide app, which lets users find activities like swimming with whale sharks or watching fireflies during cruisies. They may also opt for visiting the island of Tikling and Calintaan from Matnog or checking out Spanish-era houses in Juban.
As for travelers headed to Visayas, they can use the Iloilo guide. It’s an app that can help plan where to eat, get souvenirs, and more! The app also featuers contact numbers for accredited tour guides and local authorities to ensure their safety.
In Iloilo, vacationers can discover the islands with pristine coastlines, limestone cliffs, and clear blue skies. You may choose to visit towns such as Ajuy, Barotac Viejo, Carles, Concepcion, and San Rafael, which serve as jump-off points to their idyllic island destinations.
