There is no doubt that Pinoy anime fans are all by now pumped up for the premiere of Trese. To add more thrill to the highly anticipated series, Netflix is holding a special countdown event right before the show drops on June 11.
Titled Trese Before Midnight, the virtual event will be streamed on the Netflix Philippines Facebook page on June 10, 11:47 p.m. It will give you an exciting peek into the supernatural world of Trese, with guest appearances from star Liza Soberano (Alexandra Trese in the Filipino language version); executive producer, director, and showrunner Jay Oliva; writer and executive producer Tanya Yuson; and Trese graphic novel creators Budjette Tan and KaJO Baldisimo.
Trese Before Midnight will also host the Not Alive concert with Filipino band, UDD (formerly Up Dharma Down), who will perform the official OST of Trese, “Paagi.” It’s the band’s first-ever concert with a ghost audience. And if you submitted an entry to be part of the concert, you might just see a ghost version of yourself in the crowd!
And there’s so much more that Netflix has in store for Pinoy fans. If you can’t wait to see Alexandra go head-to-head with aswangs, you can watch the first five minutes of Episode 1 on June 10 only on Netflix’s Facebook page.
