Toyota Motor Philippines wrapped up a busy year by introducing the 2021 update to the Vios’ hatchback sibling, the Toyota Yaris.

The refreshed Toyota Yaris sports a redesigned mesh-type front grille flanked by new LED fog lamps and wide-winged headlamps (the 1.5 S CVT variant gets LED lamps and new Daytime Running Lights). It also boasts of newly designed 15-inch two-tone machine-finish alloy wheels.

Cars behind the new Yaris 1.5 S CVT variant are in for a visual treat with LED line guides outlining its rear combination lamps. Completing the exterior changes is the sporty rear spoiler.

The new Yaris comes in an electrifying new Cyan Metallic paint job. Other vibrant colors available include Citrus Mica Metallic and Red Mica Metallic. Those who want something more classic can get the refreshed Yaris in Super White II.

The new Yaris is powered by either a 1.3L or 1.5L Dual VVT-i engine mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The 1.5 S CVT variant gets paddle shifters, as well as Eco and Sport drive modes.

Inside, the new Yaris features a spacious 5-seater cabin and support for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Customers who opt for the 1.5 S CVT won’t have to scramble for their keys with its convenient Smart Entry and Push Start System. This variant also comes in new synthetic leather seats and is equipped with a 6-speaker system.

Standard on all Yaris variants are 7 SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control, and hill-start assist.

You can now reserve the new Yaris by contacting your local Toyota dealership. Retail sales in all 70 dealerships across the country will start on January 13, 2021.

The Yaris 1.3 E CVT is priced at P973,000, while the 1.5 S CVT goes for P1,114,000.
