These LG appliances are must-haves for a smart home

A glimpse into the kitchen of the future

Two new InstaView smart refrigerators are coming and these groundbreaking fridges do more than just keep food fresh. They come with special features and LG’s InstaView technology, which makes it possible to peer inside the fridge without opening the door through a transparent glass panel. In addition, the glass panel doubles as a display for looking up recipes or watching videos.

First is the CES 2020 Innovation Award-winning LG InstaView with Craft Ice comes with a built-in ice maker. The spherical ice it produces melts much more slowly, preserving the flavor of drinks longer.

Next is the second-generation InstaView ThinQ, which has been made smarter. It has AI for real-time inventory of food items and it even offers meal suggestions based on available ingredients. Moreover, the smarter tech will alert owners if they are running low on certain items. Its panel doubles as a 22-inch display for browsing and watching cooking videos via Wi-Fi.

Making cooking times faster

The new LG InstaView ThinQ Range with Air Fry is equipped with InstaView technology, allowing you to simply knock on the oven’s glass panel to take a peek at the food you’re cooking.

The 6.3-cubic feet oven integrates air frying and True Convection technology to ensure a thoroughly cooked dish. Meals come out with significantly less oil compared to traditional deep frying.

On the ThinQ app, users can access recipes from SideChef, Innit, and Tovala. They can even monitor their cooking from anywhere, plus the oven can connect to Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa speakers for convenience.

Cleanup also comes easy and fast with the oven’s EasyClean and Self Clean features.

An AI-customized laundry experience

Winner of a 2020 CES Innovation Award, the new LG ThinQ front-load washing machine with AI Direct Drive (AI DD) can detect the volume and weight of each unique laundry load with AI. It is also equipped with advanced sensors to identify different fabric types.

Its ezDispense feature automatically adds the exact amount of liquid detergent and fabric softener customized for each load. Then when drying, the LG Smart Pairing function automatically sends the optimal dryer settings for loads to compatible LG dryers.
