The Nike PG2 sneakers are for ballers and gamers alike

Gamers, you may want to put down those controllers and give your full attention to these insanely cool sneakers. Nike has partnered with Sony for the release of the limited-edition, PlayStation-inspired shoes with NBA player Paul George.

George’s second signature shoe, the Nike PG2 releases in PlayStation colorway, which highlights his love for gaming. It features a host of PlayStation-specific nods, including a starry galaxy print sockliner, lace loops that are the same color as the controller’s buttons, and black patent leather heel tab with cross, circle, square, and triangle graphic design.

The coolest feature, however, are the blue light-up logos—on the left shoe is a “PS” logo for PlayStation and on the right one is a futuristic kettering of “PG” for Paul George. These logos light up via a power button located on the back of the sneaker’s tongue. A pulse-like haptic effect, similar to a DualShock controller, also activates when you turn on the logos’ lights.
