Taking purr-fect pics with the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2

As someone who loves pets but can’t have one, I went out looking for cute puspins to take pictures of using the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2.

In case you didn’t know, puspin is short for Pusang Pinoy or Pinoy Cat. This is the politically correct term to call street or house cats without a specific breed, so don’t call them “puskal” anymore. (This goes the same for Pinoy dogs. They’re called “aspin” now.)

Thank heavens PAWS (Philippine Animal Welfare Society) advocated for the name change to show that local cats (and dogs) are just as cute, intelligent, and loyal as purebred ones.

I’m more of a dog person, but I wanted to show some love to the cool cats of Quezon City by snapping some photos of them. Take a look.

While I was making my way to the office, I spotted this little cutie hiding under a neighbor’s car. I guess you can say I had a good meow-ning. The Max Pro M2’s AI camera easily detected the adorable kitty and put it in focus.

Fast forward to my evening, I went to UP Diliman–a campus where cats lurk among students. The Max Pro M2’s battery was still holding up, so I thought of taking photos. These two felines greeted us at an eatery where my night ended on a paw-sitive note.

Photos at night can be a cat-astrophe with other phones, but with the Max Pro M2, they were as purr-fect.

By the weekend, I found myself in Cat-ipunan (Katipunan) where I crossed paths with this kitty my sisters and I call “Sunset.”

Come Monday morning, my heart melted when I saw this peaceful cat. I couldn’t help but take a paw-trait.

Although the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2 is famous for its long-lasting battery life, its camera can hold its own. With the big battery juice, you can start snapping early in the day until the late hours of the night.
