Luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer is now the official timekeeper of the Philippine Basketball Association. TAG Heuer and the PBA announced their partnership during a kick-off party held at the Privé Luxury Club in Bonifacio Global City. Romain Cans, Area Sales Director of TAG Heuer, detailed the partnership in his welcoming remarks, announcing that the watchmaker is now the official timekeeper of Asia’s pioneering professional basketball league. The deal was officially sealed during the night when a TAG Heuer clock was turned over to PBA President and CEO Robert Non and PBA Commissioner Chito Narvasa. San Miguel Beermen player June Mar Fajardo was also awarded a TAG Heuer Aquaracer Chronograph for embodying the #DontCrackUnderPressure attitude. Fajardo has been injured during the semifinals of the 2016 PBA Philippine Cup, causing him to miss half of the finals. But the SMB center came back in Game 5 of the finals and helped propel his team toward winning the championship title. The event was attended by PBA players and officials, as well as the members of the media. The 2016 PBA Philippine Cup champion team, San Miguel Beermen, also graced the party. With the Don’t Crack Under Pressure campaign, TAG Heuer makes its own rules, chooses its own part, never compromises, and never cracks under pressure. The partnership with PBA strengthens the brand’s unbreakable determination to highlight the best of both worlds and inspire more people to push past their limits and excel in their chosen fields.
