TAG Heuer revamps Carrera Lady timepieces
TAG Heuer refreshes its Carrera Lady watches with an elegant twist, while still staying true to the line’s daring personality and iconic heritage.
The new design enhances the entire 36mm collection, giving it an elegant and more feminine look. It’s available with a number of dial colors—white mother-of-pearl, purple, blue, grey, and black—in either quartz or automatic movement.
Fearless and feminine
To capture the style and personality of the new collection, the Swiss watchmaker teamed up with model, actress, and TAG Heuer Brand Ambassador Cara Delevingne.
“For me a watch is not only a fashion accessory, it’s also something that reflects who you are and your way of life,” she shared. “In that regard, I like my watch to be daring, bold, and noticeable.”
“The first thing you notice when you look at the Carrera watches is the design, the lines, the elegance without being too classic. I really like the touch of color, the stainless steel bracelet, and how you can wear them with different looks throughout the day,” Cara remarked.
Sophistication in details
Just the look of the timepieces scream elegance. On its face, the dial dons refined indexes and hands. Also on the dial is a second scale surrounded by either a smooth or diamond-set bezeled scale. The dial is available in white mother-of-pearl, purple, blue, grey, and black.
Another eye-catching feature on the collection is the intriguing trapezoidal-shaped date window.
Strapped in style
Down to the straps, the Carrera Lady collection captures the fearless and feminine charm. Although most of TAG Heuer’s other lady watches feature smaller faces, this collection veers away. Its 36mm case creates a robust yet classy look.
Furthermore, the new timepieces don curved lugs for its straps. For those looking for a sleeker look, the polished stainless steel bracelet strap is a fit. On the other hand, the calfskin or alligator leather strap still embodies elegance, but combines it with a rugged aesthetic.
Carrera, originally introduced in 1963, finds its roots in motor racing. The Carrera Lady line is no different in terms of DNA—focus, drive, and a daring attitude. It just ups the ante on feminine refinement.
