Sony’s new WF-SP800N earbuds are made for fitness junkies

Are you a fitness or outdoor enthusiast looking for TWS earbuds? You may want to take a look at Sony’s new pair of noise-canceling buds especially made for fitness enthusiasts. The WF-SP800N comes with IP55 water and sweat resistance, and up to 13 hours of battery life.

With the IP55 rating, the buds can handle splashes, sweat, and dust. It even says on Sony’s site that you can wash them after a tough training session.

The SP800N carries the same Bluetooth chip as the 1000XM3, which ensures a stable connection. They also feature Sony’s “Extra Bass” sound.

In terms of battery, the earphones can last up to nine hours of playback with digital noise cancellation (NC) enabled and 13 hours with it off. Its charging case can make the buds last twice as long. Sony claims 10 minutes of quick charging will give you up to an hour of music playback with NC on.

The buds sport a curved design to make the fit secure and comfortable. There’s a touch-sensitive pad on each bud for controls, which are customizable through the Sony Headphones Connect app. When digital noise cancellation mode is on, users can hold a finger over the earbud to turn the volume down and let in ambient sound.

The Sony WF-SP800N cost $199.99 (around P10,000) with color choices of either white, orange, black, or blue.
