Sony’s GP-VPT2BT is a versatile, wireless camera grip

Content creators need a versatile, reliable, and cable-free grip to help them improve their mobility and further their creativity. The new Sony GP-VPT2BT camera grip is one such accessory that goes with Sony’s range of mirrorless cameras.

The grip connects to cameras via Bluetooth, ditching the need for wires. This way, users get more flexibility to shoot in varied angles without getting tangled. It also lets them toggle camera controls and shoot vlogs with just one hand.

On the grip are built-in legs that can be extended to turn it into a tripod. There’s also a photo capture button, movie recording button, zoom button, C1 button, lock switch, angle adjusting button, and a flip button. The grip also houses an indicator in the middle.

According to Sony, the shooting grip is compatible with the Alpha A9 II, A9, A7R IV, A7R III, A7 III, A6600m A6400, A6100, RX100 VII, and RX0 II cameras.

The GP-VPT2BT shooting grip will be available in the Philippines soon.
