Sony surprises with electric car concept at CES 2020

Attendees at CES 2020 expected Sony to spill more details about its upcoming PlayStation 5. The tech company did deliver by unveiling the new PS5 logo.

However, Sony had one one huge surprise in its back pocket: its own electric car concept called the Sony Vision-S.

The Vision-S boasts entertainment capabilities, camera sensors, and more. TechCrunch reports that the car was built with other big names in tech such as Bosch, Continental, Genetex, Nvidia, and Magna.

The electric car comes with 33 sensors inside and outside of the vehicle for safety and support. On the entertainment side, it has Sony’s immersive 360-degree audio and a panoramic screen stretching across the front dashboard.

Sony, however, made no suggestion that the car would go into production.
