Sony has kickstarted the Philippine launch of its Bravia XR Series, with the release of the Master Series Z9J 8K LED TV on Monday, November 15.
As Sony announced during its CES 2021 press event last January 12, the BRAVIA XR televisions boast of the company’s new processing engine, called the Cognitive Processor XR, which uses a new method designed to replicate the way humans see and hear.
As CE Pro notes, Sony’s Cognitive Processor XR divides the screen into zones and detects where the focal point is within the picture. This approach is said to exceed standard processing that analyzes elements such as color, contrast and detail by cross analyzing several elements at once just like the human brain.
The recently-launched BRAVIA Master Series Z9J 8K LED TV is part of Sony’s newest Cognitive Intelligence TVs and only comes in 85” size.
Combined with its full array LED panel, XR Triluminos Pro, XR Contrast Booster, and XR Upscaling, the TV’s Cognitive Processor XR delivers 8K realism with deep blacks and intense brightness. X-Wide Angle technology provides vivid real-world colors from any angle while retaining more color and brightness.
As for the audio, the BRAVIA XR Master Series Z9J’s speakers are equipped with Acoustic Multi-Audio, ambient optimation, and support for Dolby Atmos to produce high-quality moving sound in any environment.
It also works with Google Assistant for hands-free voice search and offers easy connectivity to most devices, including Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit.
The Sony BRAVIA Master Series Z9J is now available in select Sony Authorized Dealers nationwide.
