Review: Dynaudio Music 1 is one powerful little speaker

Everything is better with music. In this case, everything is better with Dynaudio Music 1 speakers.

First, a little intro on Dynaudio Music. This line from the Danish brand is a set of multi-room speakers that connects to each other wirelessly. I got to test out the smallest member of its family, the Music 1, and let me tell you, don’t underestimate its size.

Aesthetically, these speakers are gorgeous. The prism shape design gives it a sleek look. the unit I tested out came in red woven fabric. It’s definitely eye-catching.

A sound Goliath

Although the Music 1 is just about the size of a handbag, the sound it pumps out speaks volumes. Whether you place it in a small or big room, it will fill your space with music. It even rivals the quality of speakers and sound bars twice its size.

Its 1-inch dome tweeter, 4-inch bass, and midrange driver give awesome quality to your sounds. You know speakers are good when you feel the bass in your bones.

Seamless connections

If you’re like me who likes switching between devices for music and videos, you’ll love the Music 1. I keep all my music on my phone, then I watch series and YouTube on my laptop. The Music 1 connects to devices via Bluetooth seamlessly and pretty quickly.

Whenever I used the speakers for my laptop, I just plugged in the 3.5mm audio jack to the speakers (which come in the box) for easier connections.

The speakers can also play music when you connect your smartphone through the USB port in the back, but who needs wired connections, right?

Another way to connect to the speakers is through Wi-Fi with the Dynaudio Music app. There are upsides and downsides to this. First, the upsides. The app gives you more control over the speakers. You can adjust the bass, treble, and toggle between the RoomAdapt and NoiseAdapt features. Now for the downsides. I did a bit of research and found out that the Music speakers only support the Tidal streaming service as of the moment which is a bit of a shame. However, the app supports a tuner for web radio which includes a bunch of local stations.

Speed says

It might be the smallest in the lineup, but the Dynaudio Music 1 is one powerful speaker. It makes a statement as it combines jaw-dropping sound and multiple connectivity options in a compact body.

You, too, can get your hands on these awesome speakers for P30,000. visit audiopursuits.ph to learn more.
