There’s a reason why the realme C11 flew off Shopee shelves when it launched: it’s a bang-for-the-buck must-have, especially for those looking for a daily driver for online learning.
Is this budget phone really worth its P4,990 price? Here are our thoughts on the device so far:
A strong look with strong performance to match
First off, the phone’s rear design looks classy. It has a matte finish, which helps prevent fingerprint smudges when you hold it. The rear is made of plastic, but it still feels pretty sturdy.
The stripe running across the camera bump gives the phone a chic look. It’s clear that realme wants to accentuate the trendy camera on the phone. In the bump, there are two cameras: a 13MP main shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. The big module might be unnecessary on the phone, especially if it only serves aesthetics. Photos taken with the phone come out pretty clear, but I find the saturation a bit off.
In terms of display, I think the C11 has a more vibrant screen than other realme phones I previously reviewed. And although most of us are indoors when using the phones, the C11’s LCD display doesn’t do well in direct sunlight.
When it comes to performance, the wallet-friendly phone holds its own. It can handle hours of viewing videos on YouTube and other social media apps. Productivity apps like Google Docs and Sheets run smoothly on the phone and the phone can seamlessly switch between running apps.
The realme C11 lasts over a day when used casually for social media and light gaming. We’ll see how it fares when running intensive apps soon.
