Did you get a PlayStation 4 (PS4) this holiday season? Then you must be rejoicing with Sony Interactive Entertainment Hong Kong Limited Singapore Branch (SIES) as they celebrate the following milestones reached by the PS4:
- PS4 has now cumulatively sold more than 91.6 million units globally as of December 31, 2018.
- During the holiday season alone, the PS4 sold more than 5.6 million units globally.
- More than 50.7 million PS4 games were sold globally during the holidays which sums up to a total of 876 million games sold as of December 31, 2018.
- Hit game Marvel’s Spider-Man, first launched in September 2018, has sold a total of 9 million copies worldwide as of November 25, 2018.
“Thanks to the continued support from our fans during the holiday season, we are pleased to announce that PS4 has reached 91.6 million units globally. We are also happy to announce that the monthly active users of PlayStation Network continues to show strong growth, and has surpassed 90 million as of end of November 2018,” said John Kodera, President and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment.
