Everything Apple announced at its keynote event

Apple unveiled an impressive lineup of new devices, including a much-awaited next-generation iPhones, at their annual September keynote event. But aside from the new batch of iPhones, the company also introduced other new products and services.

These new products include the 7th-generation iPad, the new Watch Series 5, Apple Arcade, and Apple TV+. Know more about these fresh offerings from the tech giant below.


First on the list is the announcement of the Apple Arcade app, an ad-free gaming service that can be download in the App Store. Officially launching on September 19, Arcade will have “more than 100 ground-breaking exclusive games” with titles to be added monthly, according to the tech company. With Arcade, game titles will be accessible on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV for only $4.99 monthly with one-month free trial.


Next up is the Apple TV+, the company’s very own on-demand video streaming service that features original content. Like the Arcade, the Apple TV+ will be available for $4.99 monthly on a family subscription with a seven-day free trial.

7th-gen iPad

Now on its seventh generation, the new Apple iPad arrives with a new 10.2-inch Retina display and a smart connector compatible with a first-gen Apple Pencil. Those with an affinity for the TouchID will also be glad to know the latest iPad retained the home button. Of course, this device already runs on the newly designed iPadOS. The 7th-gen iPad has a starting price of $329 and will begin shipping on September 30.

Watch Series 5

Finally, Apple gave us a glimpse of the Apple Watch Series 5. The new wearable has new titanium and ceramic cases and magnetic straps. Running on WatchOS, the upgraded smartwatch comes with many impressive features such as its low-energy, always-on Retina display. The Watch Series 5 will retail for $399 for the standard version and $499 for the LTE model. The watch is scheduled to hit stores on September 20.
