Fresh from their recent groundbreaking partnership with Southeast Asia’s internet TV service provider iflix , PLDT HOME and Smart Communications, Inc. once again tapped another entertainment company to provide more videos-on-demand (VoD), live shows, and catch-up television to its subscribers. The two multimedia networks teamed up with global entertainment company Fox International Channels to offer an extensive menu of top-line content and entertainment-viewing options. World-class entertainment has now been made available by the corporate giants, giving both prepaid and postpaid subscribers access to premium channels like Fox Sports, Fox Play, Fox Movies, National Geogrpahic, Nat Geo People, Nat Geo Wild, Channel M, and Star Chinese Channel, as well as premium movies like Guardians of the Galaxy, How To Train Your Dragon 2, among others. PLDT HOME DSL users can enjoy Fox VoD and top-up services for an additional P99 monthly, while Fibr and PLDT HOME subscribers who upgrade to a TVolution or Telpad plan will get the service for free. Triple play subscribers are given free access to channels like Fox Play, Fox Movies, and Fox Sports. Meanwhile, Smart subscribers get the free entertainment on the go service from Fox with the Smart Life Entertainment bundles for as low as P50 for three days. Postpaid users can opt to avail the add-on option of P99 per month. Present during the announcement of the partnership were PLDT and Smart EVP and Consumer Business Group Head Ariel Fermin, FOX International Channels Executive Vice President for Content and Communications of Asia Pacific & Middle East and Managing Director of Hong Kong & South East Asia Joon Lee, and PLDT-Smart Chairman Manny V.
