PayMaya is adding new features to its app called Payment Links and QR Ph to make it easier to accept cashless payments through social media platforms like Viber, Messenger, and Instagram.
Payment Links allow users with upgraded accounts to generate a request money link, which already indicates the amount needed to pay.
On the other hand, QR Ph lets sellers instantly receive payments instantly from other PayMaya users or from 18 other banks and financial institutions via InstaPay.
To use these two features on the PayMaya app, go to your User Profile icon on the top-left portion and tap on the QR code icon next to your name and mobile number. Once you’ve generated a code, take a screenshot of the QR code and send it through social media or chat apps to receive instant payment.
Moreover, PayMaya has a running promo wherein users get the chance to earn P100 for every P25,000 worth of accumulated payments received through their PayMaya account. They can also earn P400 for a maximum of P100,000 worth of accumulated payments. This promo runs from February 12 to 16.
