OPPO is teasing an upcoming release: a 4K smart TV capable of displaying 4K video at 120fps.
The TV will be unveiled in October, and so far, the tech company hasn’t spilled much about the screen yet. However, reports say that the smart TV will come in 55- and 65-inch sizes. They will also have 4K Quantum Dot panels with 120Hz refresh rate.
It’s also likely that the TV’s audio system is designed by Bang & Olufsen. OPPO already has a partnership with the Danish brand. Leaks also say that the smart TV models have different remote controls, suggesting varying features.
OPPO isn’t the first smartphone company to expand its product portfolio with smart TVs. Previously, OnePlus, Nokia, Xiaomi, realme, and Honor have released their own TV lines. OPPO first announced its plans to unveil a TV during its 2020 OPPO Developer Conference.
