The OPPO Reno6 Z 5G has finally arrived. It is the brand’s latest addition to its Reno Series, alongside the Reno6 5G, that puts the creation of remarkable content at the forefront of its function.
It is furnished with a 64MP triple-camera setup, AI-enhanced video and selfie features complemented by speedy 5G support. Like every model of the series, the Reno6 Z 5G features a striking yet sleek design, which makes the device extra comfortable to use.
Inside the Reno6 Z 5G’s box are the unit, 30W charging adapter, USB Type-C cable, 3.5mm wired earphones with mic, clear jelly case, quick guide, safety guide, and SIM ejector tool.
The Reno6 Z 5G comes in two colorways: Stellar Black and the one that we have—the Aurora. Both models feature the brand’s unique Reno Glow effect inspired by the “dazzling Northern Lights.” Our test unit radiates subtle hues of blue, green, pink, orange, and sometimes yellow at different angles and under different lights.
It’s uber-chic, youthful, and obviously made to enchant the younger generation of smartphone users—especially if “unicorn vibes” are your kind of vibes.
The Reno6 Z 5G’s thin rear camera bump is located at the upper left corner of the device, same as its predecessor, the Reno5 Z 5G. The difference is that this one houses three shooters, while the previous model has four.
It may have decreased in number, but definitely not in power. The Reno6 Z 5G has a 64MP main shooter, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro sensors that produce equally stunning photos enhanced by the device’s AI technology.
Apart from all that, the Reno6 Z 5G comes fingerprint-proof, thanks to its glossy finish jazzed up with a grainy matte feel. It is lightweight, weighing a mere 173 grams and measuring only 7.97 mm thin.
Its bumper is made out of plastic, just like the back cover, but fully glossy. On its left side are the nano SIM card slot and volume rocker, while the right side houses the power button that doubles as a screen lock.
On the top is the sub-mic, and the bottom is where the earphone jack, Type-C port, speaker, and main mic are all located.
The Reno6 Z 5G sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a punchy 2400 x 1800 FHD+ resolution and responsive interface. On the upper left corner of the screen is the punch-hole 32MP selfie camera that features various filters like the Bokeh Flare Portrait, among others.
And similar to its predecessors, the Reno6 Z 5G has an in-display fingerprint scanner.
That’s it for now about the OPPO Reno6 Z 5G. Find out all about its performance in the full review we’re dropping soon on our website.
