Television screens continue to grow in size and that means it can take up a lot of your home space. LG Electronics (LG) offers its solution to this potential problem by introducing the world’s first rollable OLED TV at CES 2019.
The LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R (model 65R9) changes the way everyday TV is used with its revolutionary form factor and excellent sound quality. It offers a never-before-seen user experience that will give home TV viewers infinite possibilities in designing their viewing space.
With flexible OLED panels made of organic materials, the LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R can transform into three different viewing options–Full View, Line View and Zero View.
Full View delivers a beautiful large-screen viewing with remarkable AI picture and sound quality thanks to LG’s second generation α (Alpha) 9 intelligent processor and deep learning algorithm. This breathtaking TV is ready for voice commands as it is equipped with Amazon Alexa, Apple Airplay 2 support and HomeKit.
Line View allows the LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R to be partially unrolled, perfect for managing tasks that do not require the full TV screen. Line view includes Clock mode with the time and weather, Frame mode which can be shared from smartphones, Mood mode for creating a relaxing atmosphere, and Music and Home Dashboard.
In Zero View, all 65 inches of the TV are tucked away in its base. Although the screen is tucked away, Zero View still capable of playing music and other audio content through its 4.2-channel 100W front-firing Dolby Atmos audio system.
