Google celebrates 20th year with special Doodle
Search giant Google is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and to mark this special milestone, the company released a very special (and quirky) video Doodle for everyone.
Today’s Doodle takes a stroll down memory lane by exploring popular searches all over the world in the past two decades, including Y2K, Pluto losing its status as a planet, the Royal wedding, other big world events, avocado toast, and more.

On this day in 1988, Stanford Ph.D. students Larry Page and Sergey Brin launched the new search engine with a goal to organize the world’s information and make it accessible and useful. Twenty years after, Google Search is now offered in more than 150 languages and over 190 countries.
Happy birthday, Google!
