Dell releases revamped award-winning laptops

Dell unveils a host of new and improved products and software experiences across its award-winning Latitude, XPS and Inspiron portfolios at CES 2019.

These are the highlights from Dell’s newest releases:

Latitude 7400 2-in-1

  • The world’s first PC to use a proximity sensor enabled by Intel® Context Sensing Technology
  • Its ExpressSign-in detects the user’s presences, wakes the system and scans for facial recognition to log in with Windows Hello and when the user steps away, it will recognize this and will lock itself
  • Expected to deliver 24 hours of run time on a single charge and ExpressCharge can get it’s battery up to 80% in just an hour

 

XPS 13

  • Powered by the latest quad-core 8th Gen Intel ® Core™ processors
  • Has an InfinityEdge display and supports Dolby Vision®
  • It has an arctic white woven glass fiber interior and a new frost anodized exterior which comes in two color options: rose gold and white, and black and silver.

 

Inspiron 7000 2-in-1

  • Comes in 13” and 15”
  • Debuts a full-size magnetic pen garage for its Active Pen
  • Keyboard integrates power button and fingerprint reader into a new power key as part of the keyboard
  • Adaptive Thermal tech enables system to adjust performance based on how the user is holding it

 

Dell Cinema

  • Updated to offer ultra-vivid picture quality with Dolby Vision® and 360 audio enhancements with Waves MaxxAudio NX for an immersive cinematic experience

 

Dell Mobile Connect

  • Will allow for wireless transfer from phone to PC and vice versa without internet connection

 

OLED

  • Laptops like Dell XPS 15, Alienware m15, Dell G7 to come with OLED starting March 2019.
  • Dell will offer 240Hz panels on Alienware m15 notebooks in March
