Just when we can no longer hold our horses down, Marvel Entertainment releases a new teaser trailer for Avengers: Endgame. In this new one-minute clip, the remaining heroes who survived Thanos’ snap in Infinity War are seen gearing up for their biggest battle yet.
It opens with Dr. Bruce Banner aka The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) raising his concerns about their capability to fight the extraterrestrial terror that is Thanos (Josh Brolin). A valid point considering the team is now down to half. Check out this image below, which shows a side by side reference of who survived (colored) and who perished (grayscale) after Thanos’ snap:
Also, the clip shows Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) reuniting with his “frienemy” Captain America (Chris Evans). If you may recall, the two pioneers of the Earth’s mightiest heroes got into a big brawl in Captain America: Civil War, after they disagreed on where the Avengers must stand following the tragic events of Avengers: Age of Ultron set in the town of Sokovia.
“We owe this to everyone who is not in this room to try,” was the piercing line from Black Widow (Scarlet Johanson) that captures the emotion of the film that sets to avenge the fallen, including Doctor Strange, Groot, Black Panther, and Spider-Man.
Avengers: Endgame opens in the Philippines on April 24, two days ahead of the US release on April 26. Watch the full teaser below:
