NBA, Vivo cement partnership in the Philippines
The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Vivo Philippines announce their multiyear partnership, making Vivo the official smartphone of the NBA in the country.
The announcement was made by NBA Champion and seven-time NBA All-Star Alonzo Mourning, NBA Philippines Managing Director Carlo Singson, and Vivo Philippines Chief Executive Officer Ted Xiong.
Vivo will now be the presenting partner of the NBA Playoffs Bracket Challenge, a fantasy league for fans to submit their NBA Playoffs predictions. The smartphone manufacturer will also be a partner of the Jr. NBA in the Philippines and the NBA 3X Philippines to leverage these platforms with stage interactive fan activities and showcase Vivo’s latest mobile devices. Vivo will enjoy being integrated into NBA Facebook content such as game highlights, vignettes, and photos.

Hall of Famer Mourning described that the newly forged partnership “will mark of a new era changing the way Pinoy fans will interact with basketball.”
