OnePlus has confirmed that the name of its new line of cheaper phones is OnePlus Nord.
Previously, leaks suggested that the first phone from the line will be tagged with either a “Lite” or “Z” moniker, but OnePlus took a different route. The phone will cost under $500 (around P25,000), a first for the company in recent years, according to CEO Pete Lau.
According to reports, the device will feature a Snapdragon 765G processor, a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, dual front cameras, and 64MP triple rear cameras. The phone will also have 5G support, 6GB or RAM, and 128GB of storage.
The OnePlus Nord is expected to go official on July 10 in India and certain European countries.
