Exciting times are ahead for British car marque MG (short for Morris Garages) as it recently announced its partnership with The Covenant Car Company Inc. (TCCCI). The European-designed and China-manufactured car maker, originally established in 1924, has been in the Philippines for quite some time now, but is now being distributed by the same company that brought Chevrolet to the Philippines.
“TCCCI is optimistic that Filipinos will positively respond to MG’s new global products. It is honored to be the official distributor of MG in the Philippines, and is very excited to provide the market with new options, an aggressive model lineup, and favorable offers, as it acknowledges the market’s discerning preferences,” said Atty. Alberto Arcilla, president and managing director of TCCCI, during the recent brand launch.
As part of the brand’s reintroduction, the company is bringing in three new vehicles to the local market, opening 16 independent MG dealer partners nationwide, implement accessible and innovative after-sales services, and conduct roadshows and pop-up concepts in leading malls.
