Despite the challenges brought about by the pandemic, Mazda’s local distributor Bermaz Auto Philippines Inc., announced that it is continuing its partnership with MFI Polytechnic Institute.

Now in its 8th year, the BAP Mazda-MFI Automotive Technology 2-Year Scholarship Program provides free technical education, training, and opportunities to financially challenged youth.

Formerly known as the MFI Foundation Incorporated, the MFI Polytechnic Institute has supported 260 scholars since 2014 with Mazda Philippines’ sponsorship and direction.

A total of 230 graduates have completed the Automotive Technology course utilizing the institute’s 2-year Dual Training System. There are 40 students currently enrolled in the course under the supervision and support of Mazda Philippines.

Screening for the new batch of trainees is set to begin.
