This P98, 900 lightweight scooter is powered by a 150cc single-cylinder that makes 13.3hp and 12.5Nm. The updated engine also gets improved valve train friction reduction and a lightweight cylinder head.
There’s also a smart variant of the Like 150i ABS, which comes with Noodoe dashboard technology. This feature is an interactive dash that connects smartphone to the scooter for smart navigation. This smart scooter is available in one color (Matte Silver Crystal) for P119,900.
Meanwhile, the all-new Xciting 300i offers riders top-of-the-line features, including a multi-functional digital instrument panel, 12V charger, front fuel filler opening, front and rear Bosch anti-lock braking system, and large underseat compartment. You can get the Xciting 300i for P239,000 in Matte White or Matte Black.
Look hot, stay cool
Riders hate wearing lots of gear, especially during the summer. Who can blame them? In a tropical country like ours, wearing a jacket while riding—and getting stuck in traffic—means you’ll sweat like a pig. But then you can’t just ride without the proper gear and risk getting injured, right? What to do? Maybe you should check out the P8,500 ComTect with Active Cooling System (ACS), a 100 percent Filipino-designed and manufactured line of apparel that provides a reasonable degree of protection (thanks to abrasion-resistant pads) while keeping you cool and comfortable. ACS is a system of intake and exhaust opening and fans that draw cool air from the outside, circulates it around your body, and vents out the hot air.
Revzilla REV’IT! Watson Jacket
Now, when the rainy season starts, you may want to don the Revzilla REV’IT! Watson Jacket, which features a removable Hydratex breathable membrane to ensure 100 percent waterproofing beneath an already hydrophobic poly/cotton outer shell. Of course, it can’t be a proper motorcycle gear without CE-rated armor at the shoulders, back, and elbows.
