LG breaks gender stereotypes with Laundry Love

This National Women’s Month, LG is helping out women by empowering alpha-males to do the family laundry with LG washers in its Laundry Love campaign.

Even though more women are joining the workforce, studies show that they’re still stuck doing chores as soon as they get home. Filipino family structures are still holding on to traditional gender roles when it comes to doing house work. This is particularly evident in laundry.

With their time spent on doing chores, women often feel like they no longer have time for themselves to relax. It is about time to break this norm. After all, men can do chores as well as women can. LG’s innovative Home Appliances simplifies any chore, even laundry, so men won’t have to worry about not getting it right.

At the LG Laundry Love launch, motoring expert James Deakin, actor/model Eric ‘Eruption’ Tai, and PBA’s ‘Ironman’ LA Tenorio went onstage to wash their family’s clothes. See? Even alpha-males and working dads can do the laundry with LG washers!

Speed junkies like James will find the LG Front Load washer a perfect fit. The washer with Turbo Wash technology cleans clothes in less than an hour.

A new dad like Eric needs a machine like the LG Top Load washer which offers a Baby Steam Care function for deep clean and Allergy Care for the baby’s sensitive skin.

For LA, who values his time off-court, the LG Twin Load is a perfect match. This washer lets him wash his jersey plus children’s clothes.

LG lets everyone experience excellent washers

LG also opened its doors to the residents of Barangay Maybunga in Pasig to do their laundry. Offering powerful washers is te company’s way of giving back to the community. With the aim of making clean laundry accessible, LG will be rolling out the mobile laundry van soon in different barangays in Metro Manila.
