Jollibee Katipunan gets decked out with tech

Jollibee’s Katipunan branch just got some major upgradesā€”and we’re not just talking about its new look. The first Level Up Joy Store in the Philippines, which opened last November 5, showcases futuristic tech, leveling up the whole fast food experience.

Here’s a look at the fresh innovations at the new branch:

Self-order kiosks

To ease the woes of waiting in long lines, Jollibee Katipunan now has three self-order kiosks. At the kiosks, you can order at your own pace and customize it according to your preference. You can even pay for your meal there with cash, card, or through PayMaya.

Wireless charging stations

Is your battery running low? As you refill your belly with a Jolly meal, you can also refill your phone’s battery at the wireless charging terminals. Of course, this will only work for devices that support wireless charging.

Those who need to charge with a cable can fill their phone up, too. On the second floor of the store, USB ports can be found underneath the tables.

In partnership with ECOS Environmental Foundation Inc., Jollibee makes its meal delivery vehicles green as it rolls out its E-bikes. The brand plans to eventually replace its fleet of motorbikes with the more environment-friendly option.

With over 1,000 stores nationwide, Jollibee also plans to level up its other stores with these innovations in the future.
