Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 hits PH market

A few of the biggest trends in smartphones right now are notch-less screens and pop-up cameras. Huawei follows on this hot design but offers it a more affordable price with the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019.

Popping up at the entry-level

This smartphone’s design screams premium. In front, the phone sports a massive 6.59-inch bezel-less screen while its back cover dons an eye-catching 3D durable glass.

To keep its screen uninterrupted, the Y9 Prime fits its 16MP front snapper in a pop-up camera configuration. If in case the smartphone falls, an intelligent protection mechanism will detect free falls and retract the lens.

Huawei is known for its incredible smartphone photography capabilities and the Y9 Prime 2019 does not disappoint. Equipped with a 16MP+8MP+2MP triple camera system, the phone takes clear photos day and night. This phone even renders wide-angle shots of skylines and landscapes beautifully for a budget smartphone.

Immersed in content

Breaking away from the conventional smartphone design, Huawei’s new entry-level king carries no notch, sliders, holes, or physical buttons onscreen. This makes the phone a great device to watch and play movies and games on. Furthermore, its 4000mAh battery and 12nm Kirin 710 processor allows users to be on the phone non-stop.

Also, the Y9 Prime runs on the minimalist and user-friendly EMUI 9, with 10% fewer Settings items and 12% higher performance.

“We will not stop. We will continue to provide Filipino consumers with innovations and products that they deserve,” HUAWEI Consumer Business Group Philippines Country Manager George Li stated.

The Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 retails at P12,990 and comes in three colors: Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue, and Emerald Green. Pre-order for the device starts on July 5 to 12 and consumers who avail of the phone during this period will get a premium Bluetooth speaker worth P1,790.

Big consumer launches for the new budget phone will happen from July 13-14 in SM City Marilao, SM City Cebu, SM Megamall, and SM City Sta. Rosa.
