Huawei’s new generation of smartwatches, comprising the Huawei Watch GT 3 and Huawei Watch GT 3 Runner, is now in the Philippines.

Both wearables are designed to make users achieve their fitness goals more easily, with various improvements on the system complemented with premium designs.

For the Watch GT 3, Huawei has added a new heart rate tracking technology, called the TruSeen 5.0+, that includes SpO2 monitoring and skin temperature detection to help you monitor your health condition throughout the day.

It works as a personal tracker, and a handy one at that, as it records and analyses your workout data and compares it with your current athletic ability level and goals, so it can help you adjust the intensity of your training and gradually increase its volume. It also has a built-in AI Running Coach and Healthy Living Shamrock.

On top of that, Watch GT 3 features Huawei’s HarmonyOS 2.1, which enables you to use the interactive features of your smartphone with a simplified user interface.

The wearable comes in two sizes — 46mm and 42mm — and a premium design fit for formal business occasions, exercises, or even urban adventures. It is one you can use even during sleep, thanks to its battery that can last for up to 14 days for the 46mm model, and up to 7 days for the 42mm variant.

Meanwhile, Huawei promises to boost your daily run, with the Watch GT Runner. The wearable is equipped with heart rate belts and the brand’s TruSportTM professional running training system to provide you with an overall view of your training intensity, training volume, recovery time, among others.

Its new running ability measurement system, called the Running Ability Index (RAI), enables users to evaluate their running ability objectively and more precisely. What’s more, data can be shared with third-party apps through the Huawei Health App.

Same as the 46mm variant of the GT 3, the GT Runner’s battery can last for 14 days in the smart mode and eight days in heavy usage scenarios.

Both the Watch GT 3 and GT Runner are available for preorder on Huawei’s website until December 9. Those who will place their orders for the 46mm variant of Watch GT 3 (P12,999) will receive freebies worth P3,998, while the 42mm Watch GT 3 is being offered for a discounted price of P8,999 (originally P11,999), plus freebies, until the end of the promo duration. The Watch GT Runner comes with a P13,999 price tag and will also come with freebies worth P4,388.
