Huawei Watch GT 2, Band 4, Band 4e now official in PH

Huawei Philippines finally revealed to the public its new lineup of wearables–the Huawei Watch GT 2, Huawei Band 4, and Huawei Band 4e–last October 26, 2019. Huawei demonstrated the various fitness and lifestyle features of the new wearables through a fitness camp setup at Mall of Asia by the Bay. The capabilities of the Watch GT 2, Band 4, and Band 4e were tested through the various activities, including treadmill/stationary bike runs, basketball, and a shooting/ladder drills.

Huawei Watch GT 2

Available in 46mm and 42mm, the Huawei Watch GT 2 flaunts a minimalistic design with a 3D glass face fora bezel-less look. The Watch GT 2 offers two-week battery life, sports training tracking, and smart assistant functions such as Bluetooth calling, music playback, weather, alarms, and more. This smartwatch also supports heart rate monitoring powered by TruSeen 3.5, sleep monitoring by TruSleep 2.0, and stress monitoring by TruRelax.

Huawei Band 4

The Huawei Band 4 comes with features such as health monitoring powered by TruSeen 3.5 and TruSleep 2.0. The fitness band also offers nine exercise modes and customizable faces.

  • Sensors: 3-axis acceleration sensor, infrared wear sensor, optical heart rate sensor
  • Battery: 91mAh, 1.5hours charging time, up to 9 days of use, built-in USB charging port

  • System requirements: Android 4.4 or later, iOS 9.0 or later
  • Dimensions: 56 x 18.5 x 12.5mm, 24g
  • Strap width: 17mm
  • Wrist size: 14-21cm
  • Colors: Graphite Black, Amber Sunrise, Sakura Pink

Huawei Band 4e

The Huawei Band 4e offers similar features to the Huawei Band 4, but with an extension (thus the added ‘e’ in its name). Aside from the nine workout mode, the Band 4e also features a dedicated Basketball Mode, which records air-time data and average moving speed, among other, while playing. This tracker also comes with a wrist and foot mode–the wrist mode monitors heart rate and calories burned, while the foot mode tracks foot strike to minimize injuries during workouts.

  • Sensors: 6-axis motion sensor
  • Battery: 77mAh non-removable lithium, 120min charging time, up to 21 days standby/14 days use, built-in USB charging port

All the new Huawei wearables pairs with the free Huawei Health App (Android, iOS) for easy monitoring and tracking. The Huawei Watch GT 2 46mm retails for P10,990 (Matte Black) and P13,990 (Pebble Brown), while the Watch GT 2 42mm has a price tag of P9,990 (Night Black) and P13,990 (Refined Gold). Meanwhile, the Huawei Band 4 sells for P1,890 and the Huawei Band 4e is priced at P1,390.
