Almost a month may have passed since everyone has welcomed 2022, yet it’s never too late to find ways in improving your performance at work, school, or with your passions. To help you with that, Huawei has brought three new MateView displays into the Philippines: the Huawei MateView, Huawei MateView GT 34″, and Huawei MateView GT 27”.
First on Huawei’s new display family is the MateView, which features a 28.2-inch display panel that the Chinese tech giant claims to offer 4K resolution, 94% screen-to-body-ratio, and 3:2 productivity screen ratio. The desktop monitor promises vivid and almost true-to-life color representation with its support for 100% of the sRGB color gamut and 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
As for the design, the MateView has ultra-thin bezels measuring 9.3mm and a back that comes in Mystic Silver to complete the minimal and integrated design.
If you’re looking for a larger screen that offers an immersive gaming experience, the MateView GT 34” is for you. Launched as Huawei’s first curved monitor for gamers, the MateView GT features an ultra-wide (3440 x 1440) WQHD display with HDR10 technology and 165Hz refresh rate.
It offers cinema-like visuals with its ability to produce 1.07 billion colors combined with its Delta E < 2 accuracy and support for 90% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The monitor is also equipped with 350 nits peak brightness and 4000:1 contrast ratio.
MateView GT 34” enables gamers to sport their opponents first, with its Dark Field Control feature that lets you adjust the display brightness in low-light scenarios. This, in addition to the monitor’s physical five-way joystick at the bottom, which comes with 8 different display modes to fit different types of games.
MateView GT further elevates your gaming experience with its built-in 5W speaker soundbar with dual mic system that can pick up your voice from four meters away.
Last but not least, if you’re looking for a smaller yet just as capable display, the MateView GT 27” can be your best bet.
Same as the 34-inch variant, the MateView GT 27″ is equipped with HDR10 technology and features a 165Hz refresh rate at QHD 2560 x 1440 resolution for a “buttery-smooth” gaming experience and everyday usage.
This 8-bit, 16.7-million display likewise claims to deliver true-to-life images with its 90% DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, Delta e < 2 accuracy, brightness of up to 350 nits, and 4000:1 contrast ratio.
It also comes with the Dark Field Conrol feature and built-in joy stick found in the 34-inch variant.
All three monitors are now available on Huawei’s online store and flagship stores on Shopee and Lazada, with a price tag of P34,999 for the standard MateView, P28,999 for the MateView GT 34″, and P18,999 for the MateView GT 27″.
