Alongside the foldable Mate X2, Huawei unveiled the FreeBuds 4i, its latest TWS earbuds with active noise cancellation and a 10-hour battery life for continuous music playback.
The earbuds sport the same design as the previous iteration: an in-ear design with a long stem. Each bud has two mics for picking up voice. It’s also designed with a special windproof structure to reduce wind noise.
The Freebuds 4i also come with 10mm dynamic coil drivers and Bluetooth 5.2. Moreover, the stems support touch for music controls, answering and rejecting calls, and switching between ambient and noise reduction modes.
Battery-wise, the buds can last 7.5 hours with noise reduction on and 10 hours with it off on a single charge. Huawei claims that a 10-minute charge in the case can deliver up to four hours of music playback.
Initially launched in China, the Huawei FreeBuds 4i are available in red, black, and white colors for CNY 499 (~P3,800). There’s no news yet as to when it will go global.
