Honda to unveil all-new City Hatchback on April 20

After announcing the discontinuation of the Jazz last week, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has officially revealed that it is launching the All-New Honda City Hatchback in the country later this month.

The 5-door Honda City Hatchback was revealed in Thailand in November last year. From the front, it looks like the City sedan sporting similar headlights, grille, and front bumper. From the central pillars to the back, however, it’s a totally different car. There’s a longer roof, a rear door, slim, wraparound taillights, an integrated tailgate spoiler, and rounded off bumpers.

For the Thailand market, the City hatch packs a 1.0-liter DOHC i-VTEC turbopetrol in-line-three. No word yet what engine we’ll be getting here, but it will most like be the same 1.5-liter used in the current City sedan.
