Huawei has announced a roadmap for the rollout of EMUI 11, the software update for its Android skin.
The tech brand detailed when the updates will arrive for different models with an open line. Users with a Huawei smartphone under a carrier will have to refer to their carrier’s own schedule of update plan.
The rollout in the Asia Pacific region will begin in December 2020, with devices like the P40 series and Mate 30 series getting the update first. By January 2021, the nova 7 and Mate Xs will get the update. Check out the full list of compatible devices here.
EMUI 11 features improvements including smoother animation effects, multi-screen collaboration, keyboard and mouse sharing, AI subtitles, and platform-wide translation. It will also bring customizable always-on display and tighter privacy controls, among others.
