Get a haircut at home and more with Grab’s new services

Grab positions itself as the leading super app in Southeast Asia by partnering with different brands and expanding its portfolio of services that aim to empower Filipinos to do more daily. New services such as Bus Marketplace, GrabExpress Nationwide Delivery, GrabSalon, GrabGifts, Videos, and Hotels are rolling out this 2019.

Bus Marketplace

This new service takes away the need to queue to book tickets for bus rides. Launched in July, Bus Marketplace offers point-to-point (P2P) operations by Tas Trans and San Agustin for Glorietta 2 to Nuvali and Glorietta 2 to Southmall routes with trips every 30 minutes.

To give Filipinos more transport options, Grab adds new provincial bus services. Now, the service is extending the P2P routes to include Olongapo to Clark, Clark to Dagupan, and Makati to Noveleta, Cavite (and vice versa).

GrabExpress Nationwide Delivery

To continue providing instant or same-day parcel delivery, Grab ramps up GrabExpress by partnering with Ninja Van. The collaboration allows you to enjoy nationwide deliveries at lower cost, bulk pickup of up to 30 parcels at once, and next-day scheduled pickup. This also comes with a price calculator to help you assess delivery fees.

Another new partnership the app forged was with Toni&Guy and L’Oreal. This September, a new feature called GrabSalon will roll out to bring hair salon services right into your homes. You can choose from featured haircut and hair color services and book at least two hours in advance. A Toni&Guy stylist, equipped with L’Oreal products, will go to your chosen location for the service. For now, the service will be available only in Makati, BGC, Pasay, Quezon City, and Bacoor starting this September.

Videos and Hotels

While stuck in traffic, you can watch over 8,000 hours of content directly through the Grab app thanks to HOOQ.

You can also book hotel services through Agoda and Grab Platinum, Gold, and Silver members can redeem vouchers to get up to P500 off hotels booked through the partner apps. Make sure to watch for the Secret Hotel promo in the app this month.

More ways to pay with GrabPay

With Grab and PLDT Group’s collaboration, you can now pay for Free Bee Voice, a solution for making international calls, through GrabPay. Moreover, Smart, TNT, and Sun subscribers can purchase Giga Video packages in the app for as low as P50 with 5% discount using the mobile wallet.

If you’re a GrabPay user, you can also skip lines and get more rewards at SM Malls. Paying through the app gives you benefits such as access to Express Lanes at SM Cinemas and Prestige Lanes at SM Markets.
