Garmin Venu 2 Plus lets you take calls, send texts right from your wrist

Garmin’s latest smartwatch—the Venu 2 Plus—is now in the country. This GPS smartwatch not only has a robust suite of health, wellness, and fitness features, it now also has added functionalities that you can maximize for your day-to-day activities.

These include letting you make and take calls with the press of a button, access their compatible smartphone’s voice assistant to send texts, control compatible smart home devices, and more.

The Venu 2 Plus features a 43mm case, stainless steel bezel and hardware, and a 20mm quick release silicone band. Its AMOLED display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has an optional always on mode.

According to Garmin, this smartwatch has a 9-day battery life in smartwatch mode and up to 8 hours in GPS + Music mode. A rapid charge feature gives you a day’s worth of battery with just 10 minutes of charging.

Its 24/7 health monitoring features include heart rate, advanced sleep with sleep score and insights by Firstbeat Analytics, breathwork activities, fitness age, respiration, Pulse Ox, all-day stress, hydration, and women’s health.

Body Battery energy monitoring shows you how “charged” your body is, as well as the draining effects of stress and exercise. Meanwhile, Health Snapshot logs a two-minute window of key health stats and generates a report that you can share with a health care provider.

The Venu 2 includes over 25 built-in indoor and GPS sports apps, including walking, running, HIIT, cycling, pool swimming, Pilates, yoga, indoor climbing, and hiking.

The Garmin Venu 2 Plus, priced at P25,695, comes in Black, Ivory, and Powder Gray, and is available at Garmin Brand, and Garmin PH Viber Community.
