There’s a new compact crossover in town.
The all-new GAC GS4 sports a sleeker exterior with its huge blacked-out grille flanked by slim LED headlights and LED daytime running lights. The air dams and silver lower intake complement the front clip, while the rear comes with new dynamic LED taillights, a metal chrome on the tailgate, and slimmer turn signal lights. It also wears 17-inch alloy wheels and comes with a panoramic sunroof with jam protection.
Inside, the second-generation GS4 is loaded with tech features. It has a 3.5-inch instrument panel display, an 8-inch LCD infotainment display with Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 6-speaker system, and cruise control.
It’s also available with either two-tone (black and caramel brown) or black leatherette seats. The front is equipped with 6-way and 4-way manual adjustable sport-inspired seats with lumbar support, while the rear seats have central armrests with cupholders and three independent adjustable headrests.
There’s also a high-performance cabin filter that keeps out 99.7% of small particles, common dust, and pollen.
Under the hood of the all-new GS4 is a Euro 5-compliant 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that generates 164hp at 5,000rpm and 270Nm of torque from 1,700-4,000rpm. This is mated to a six-speed Aisin gearbox.
The crossover is also equipped with ABS with EBD, traction control, rear parking camera with parking sensors, an electronic parking brake, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
The 2022 GAC GS4 is now available at an SRP of P1,098,000. It’s available in five colors—Lightning Blue, Rosefinch Red, Benite Gray, Ivory White, and Elegant Black—and comes with a 5-year/150,000km warranty.
