FitFlop goes the extra mile at first Urban Walkathon
FitFlop goes the extra mile, supporting the campaign against breast cancer at its first Urban Walkathon.
As one of the most recognized footwear brands in the world, FitFlop is known for its fantastic, ergonomically-engineered shoes. It’s also known for its advocacies which include empowering women.
Since the past four years, FitFlop has partnered with ICanServe Foundation, Inc. to raise awareness about breast cancer. Through this collaborations, the companies have created high-impact information campaigns, community-based screening programs, and a support group of breast cancer survivors. In addition, Fitflop hopes to improve the quality of life for women afflicted with breast cancer.
With this initiative in mind, the footwear brand staged its very first Urban Walkathon last March 24, 2019. Over 700 guests thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon, delighting in the event’s foam machines, 3D art, inflatables, sandpit, and maze.
The Walkathon promoted an active lifestyle in a fun and engaging way, all while raising funds for a wonderful cause.
All of the event’s proceeds were then donated to fund ICanServe Foundation in their campaign against breast cancer.
