Filipino tech brand introduces its first Bluetooth audio sunglasses


By this time, you have probably heard of Facebook’s Ray-Ban Stories. You know, that pair of sunglasses that allows you to take photos and videos with just a tap on the frame, among many other things.

Now this will get you feeling Pinoy pride: Filipino lifestyle tech brand Fleek has introduced its own sunglasses that are—to some extent—similar to the social media giant’s high-tech wearables.

Fleek’s new Intelligent Bluetooth Audio Sunglasses fittingly combines tech and fashion to provide users with a hands-free audio experience via Bluetooth connection and, like the Ray-Ban Stories, a tap on the temples.

Its launch coincides with the entrance of Fleek into the tech industry as a company aiming for a more convenient and suitable digital experience for Filipinos.

Fleek’s Intelligent Bluetooth Audio Sunglasses has built-in dual loudspeakers, which transmit audio directly to your ears, consequently allowing you to jam to it privately.

Equipped with the latest version of Bluetooth 5.0, the specs allow you to listen to music or take a call with crisp audio from your phone, with zero interruptions.

It has buttons located on both the left and right temples that you would have to click once to answer the call. For music, once you play your favorite song on your phone, you can efficiently pause it with one click and play the next song with three. 

The Intelligent Bluetooth Audio Sunglasses has a waterproof rating of IP67, which means you can wear them while doing water activities or despite sweating during a workout.

On top of that, it provides users with maximum eye protection and color accuracy whether outdoor or indoor, with its glare resistance of UV400.

The wearables are powered by a 200mAh battery, which can play four hours of music and take six hours of phone calls nonstop when fully charged.

Fleek’s Intelligent Bluetooth Audio Sunglasses will retail at P4,999 on the brand’s official stores on Lazada, Shopee, and Zalora beginning September 15.
