Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1

Enjoy limitless gaming with ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1

When mobile gaming is life, you need a device that you can count on in terms of performance and battery life.

The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 promises to be your ideal gaming smartphone with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 CPU, Pure Android 8.0 OS, and 5000mAh battery. Yes, you read that right: 5000mAh.

It may sound impossible to fit them all into a sleek and compact form factor, but they’re all there—along with a 5.99-inch full-view FHD+ display, a five-magnet loudspeaker system, and NXP Smart Amplifier technology that delivers significant audio experience.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset that goes into the Max Pro M1 consists of an octa-core Kryo that runs at a lower maximum clock speed of 1.8GHz (versus 2.0GHz of the older Snapdragon 625), allowing it to increase performance by up to 54 percent and save on battery power.

It also supports Bluetooth 4.2 and Qualcomm’s aptX transmission standard for more immersive audio. It even features a five-magnet loudspeaker that features the 2nd-generation NXO Smart amplifier, which offers 41 percent louder volume without distortion,

Its whopping battery capacity can achieveamazingly long periods of use without having to be charged. It can stay on 4G standby for up to 35 days, go up to 42 hours on 3G calls, gives you 20 hours of video playback, 28 hours of web browsing over Wi-Fi, and 12 hours of gaming.

And of course, what’s a smartphone without a camera, right? The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 features a dual 13MP + 5MP rear camera setup for stunning clarity and bokeh effect, and an 8MP front camera that comes with high to low beautification settings including complexion adjustment. Both sides also feature a soft-light LED for perfectly illuminated low light photographs and selfies.

The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 is available for P9,995. Read our full review on this product in Speed‘s August 2018 Car & Bike II issue, featuring Joyce Pring on the cover.
