Cyberspace: The public reacts to Grab-Uber deal
You’ve probably heard it by now: Grab has acquired Uber’s business in the Philippines and in Southeast Asia.
In an official statement in its blog, Grab Philippines Country Head Brian Cu said that he is “very excited to welcome Uber drivers to our Grab family” and that “they have our full support and resources” during the transition. For the passengers, Cu promises “many more exciting things in store.”
This news was met with different reactions on social media. Here are some of them:
