Every new Peugeot now comes with an RFID sticker

Nothing compares to the joy of a traffic- and stress-free drive. If you like going on road trips to the North or South of Luzon (or you actually drive through toll booths every day because of work), you know how convenient it is to have an RFID sticker on your car. No long lines, no rummaging through your wallet for cash.

To save you the trouble of going through authorized stations for RFID sticker installation, Peugeot has partnered with RFID providers AutoSweep (SLEX) and EasyTrip (NLEX) to launch a program that encourages the customers of the French brand to go on precious road trips with their Peugeots.

With this new program, customers of Peugeot will have the Autosweep and Easytrip RFIDs installed in their units upon delivery. The RFIDs will have an initial load of P500 worth of credits for each RFID.

AutoSweep provides convenient cashless transactions for vehicles plying SLEX. The partnership is a welcome development for AutoSweep, whose goal is to help ease the congestion in Southern Manila and its nearby provinces.

Peugeot also announced its partnership with Easytrip Services Corporation, the exclusive electronic toll collection system provider that manages 400,000 customers in NLEX, Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), and Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX). Peugeot Philippines is the first car company to include RFIDs to both North and South Luzon as part of the vehicle package. The project is one of many customer-centric initiatives that the company will be launching this year.
